What’s New at Snapizzi?

Over the last several months, we’ve been making Snapizzi faster, clearer, and more reliable — and today, we’re excited to roll out a major series of upgrades designed to give you more visibility and confidence than ever.

Our latest update includes significant improvements across Ports, Remote Galleries, and Photo Management, all focused on making remote updates smoother, more predictable, and easier to understand at every step — especially for high-volume studios handling massive projects.

Below is an overview of what’s new, what’s improved, and where to learn more.

Remote Gallery Health Report

Your complete, real-time view of gallery creation, uploads, and linking on every connected platform.

This is the most significant update in this release — a brand-new, end-to-end transparency layer that clearly shows exactly what’s happening during remote updates. You can now confirm gallery creation, monitor uploads live, spot linking issues early, and jump straight into repair tools when needed—without leaving the Ports view.

Status Color Signals

Snapizzi’s new status colors help you understand the context behind the numbers you’re seeing. Green confirms everything is fully synced, red flags items that still need attention, and indigo appears briefly when Snapizzi is actively reconciling updates behind the scenes—especially when photos belong to multiple galleries or when large batches are being processed.

🟢 Green = Complete
🔴 Red = Not completed
🟣 Indigo = Reconciliation in Progress

These signals let you understand exactly what’s happening—without guesswork or manual checks on your remote platform.

Photo-Level Remote Status Badges

Snapizzi now provides instant visual confirmation beneath every project photo, making it easier than ever to understand what has—or hasn’t—synced to your remote platform.

Every photo now displays a remote status badge showing upload and linking status for ShootProof (SP), PhotoShelter (PS), Zenfolio (ZF), or PhotoDeck (PD). This makes it easy to spot issues before a project goes live, not after.

🟢 Green = Complete
🔴 Red = Not completed
🟠 Orange = Uploaded, Not Yet Linked

These per-photo signals complement the Remote Gallery Health Report, giving you two levels of visibility: gallery-level and image-level. Together, they make troubleshooting faster, eliminate guesswork, and help support diagnose issues more accurately when screenshots are shared.

Paperless Toolbar Now Slides on Mobile

Paperless now adapts better to narrow screens. The toolbar has been redesigned to scroll horizontally, preventing buttons from getting cramped or pushed out of view. Swiping left or right reveals the full set of controls, reducing accidental taps and making the interface safer to use during fast-paced sessions.

These refinements make Paperless easier to rely on during busy shoots, where every second and every tap matters.

Icon Upgrade + UI Refresh

This release includes a series of subtle but meaningful UI refinements designed to make Snapizzi feel faster, clearer, and easier to use. The updated Lucide-based interface delivers sharper icons with better accessibility.

We also improved cover photo handling to ensure Snapizzi waits for confirmation from the remote platform before showing updates—eliminating mismatches.

Port actions are now smoother and more predictable, especially on large projects. These refinements bring more consistency to Snapizzi’s workflow and help reduce friction during busy shooting days.

Smart Keyframe (formerly Magic Keyframe) – still in beta

snapizzi-smart-keyframe-buttonA clearer name for the same intelligent automatic creation of keyframes. The new name better reflects how the feature works and makes it easier to understand at a glance—especially for new users.

Smart Keyframe automatically creates keyframes without requiring you to photograph a Snapizzi code. Instead, it analyzes timing patterns and shooting sequences to determine where each subject begins

Behind the scenes, Smart Keyframe has received major improvements based on feedback from early testers using it on real high-volume jobs. The timing engine, sequence detection, and error-handling have all been upgraded, making automatic keyframe creation more accurate and reliable than ever.

It’s still a beta feature, but it’s now ready for more studios to test in real-world workflows. Contact us to have this feature enabled on your account.

Smoother Remote Updates & Platform Reliability Improvements

Snapizzi now communicates more intelligently with connected platforms. This results in smoother updates, more reliable syncing, clearer progress feedback, and fewer dropped photos—especially on large projects. Dozens of behind-the-scenes performance and stability improvements make ports faster, more resilient, and less dependent on remote API timing.

Together, these updates represent a major step forward in how Snapizzi communicates what’s happening behind the scenes. By combining real-time reporting, clearer signals, and smarter platform handling, we’ve made it easier to trust every step of the workflow—from capture to delivery.

As always, these improvements were driven by real studios, real projects, and real-world pressure. We’ll continue building on this foundation to make high-volume photography workflows faster, clearer, and more dependable—no matter how big the job gets.

That’s it for now. We’ll get back to making Snapizzi even better for you.

Onward!
