New Feature: High Resolution Scanning

We’re excited to announce another brand-new Snapizzi feature designed to make your projects even more reliable: High Resolution Scanning. This update tackles one of the biggest challenges in high-volume photography workflows — hard-to-read camera codes.

What is High Resolution Scanning?

Hi-Res Scanning is designed to help Snapizzi detect very small matrix codes that might otherwise be missed due to their size within the image.

It’s important to note: this feature won’t solve issues caused by poor contrast, glare, folding, skewing, or motion blur. Instead, it focuses on giving Snapizzi the ability to dig deeper into images where the codes are simply too small for normal scanning to catch.

High Resolution Scanning is a specialized process that runs at 4–5x the normal scan level, allowing Snapizzi to analyze each image in much greater detail.

By applying this extra-detailed analysis, Snapizzi significantly increases the chances of successfully reading codes in situations where standard scanning may struggle.

For photographers, missed codes can mean wasted time manually fixing galleries. Hi-Res Scanning reduces those headaches by giving Snapizzi another layer of precision — especially in those tough edge cases.

The result? Better accuracy, less manual cleanup, and smoother project deliveries.
